It Carries the World On Its Back :View 1:

This monster took me a whole semester filled with broken time points to finish. Its length is about 4 feet and height nearly 2, width a little over 14 inches. This piece is in 2 main parts and one secondary part that can be attached to the main rear. On top of the piece is the world, or terrain view of the world.
This creature carries the world and all its burdens on its back. It is almost relate-able in that we all carry our own worlds on our back and it can be quite the burden. The creature was made with high fire clay and cone 10 glaze. Each segment of the creature weighs more than 40lbs making the total weight a little over 90 when together. This will be featured in several shows to come and may be up for sale at the end of this year. I will edit this segment at a later time with a short story featuring this creature in the works.
