Well its time for my quarterly massive upload ... or somewhat like one. Too busy to update periodically. Unfortunately my scanner is having issues so these next uploads aren't as pretty. Also some of the pieces are bigger than me in size.

Most of the uploads are traditional or photos. i'll get around to posting my last semesters ceramics and sculpture work some other time. Just wanted to get all this stuff out of the way so I have it logged somewhere at least.

Super excited for the next two days! Packing for Vegas and going to EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival). It's about to be awesome! I'll surely take pictures at EDC and may submit a few here and there.  I'll be passing out a few of my business cards out there so if you see me dressed as batman or just being my friendly old self give me a shout! :D

Sculpture, drawing, painting, ect.
Throw at me what you're interested in and I can let you know if its a go.
Sculptures will have to be quoted by size, glaze use and so on and may take time due to kiln time limits (I share a kiln with a near 100 others).

Drawings start at 5 dollars each,
Paintings at 15 dollars each.

Just throwing this out here to make a few dollars to help pay the bills and gas.

Taking commissions has become a necessary!
If you would be so kind to request some you'd be loved forever! im in kind of a tragic crunch here ( on verge of being kicked out ect)

Prices for commissions are below:

10.00 sketch
15.00 sketch with some color
25.00 full detailed drawing
35.00 painting brief ( gotta afford my paints to yunno)
50.00 Painting on canvas ( sent to you for an extra 20.00 shipping)

Also do clay sculptures and masks. these prices vairy depending on the project. i can give you an estimate. I try not to be too generous to customers cause well... its a surplus that lowers other artists charges which im sure they dont appreciate. so i'll try to be as fair as possible.

Note me if interested! or send me an AIM or MSN at Scenro.

THE RESULTS ARE IN!

HERE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE 'Inspirational Contest'.

This contest was very hard to judge to say the least. First off i would like to thank :iconxthumbtakx: and :iconobliviousbreeze: for helping with the judging. Your help was very much appreciated and i liked hearing your opinions on the pieces.

First i would like to congratulate ~DevilsDynamite666 for being elected Honorable Mention in there writing piece 'Home'. You can view it here : devilsdynamite666.deviantart.c… . The piece was simple and yet moving at the same time.
You win 400 deviantart points or a Commission done by me. (Your Choice)
Congratulations!

Now i would like to introduce 3rd prize winner. This piece by all means looked amazing and the detail was massive. the idea of the coins forming a heart was also very good. The person, *GraphiteColours has amazing talent and i would like to congratulate them on there efforts for there piece 'The Giver and the Taker '. You can view the piece here : graphitecolours.deviantart.com…
You win a premium membership for 6 months.
Congratulations!

2nd prize winner goes to a writing piece that had all the elements of a true story. This piece both got a visual picture going as well as the feelings of emotion at work and the questioning eye of 'whats going to happen next?!'. I would like to congratulate *RighteousNerd on this place for there piece 'Hope on Powell Street'. You can view the piece here: righteousnerd.deviantart.com/a…
You win a premium membership for 2 years.
Congratulations!

Finally the moment you've all been waiting for, i would like to announce the First prize Winner. This artist had all of the compositions in a true art piece. The lines were set by angle (though i would make one small suggestion) but for the medium/style it may be a bit more difficult to achieve which is understandable. The piece in general had no flaws. The shading of the surrounding scene was there as well as he depth and detail of question. I would like to Congratulate *Kuroikii on winning 1st prize in this contest. You can view the piece here: kuroikii.deviantart.com/art/In…
You win a deviantart subscription for 6 months & your choice of a 50 dollar amazon card or any animal from Squishables.com up to 50 dollars.
Congratulations!

As a Thanks to all who had entered i will be faving the pieces entered and placing you on my watch list.
The rest of the contest entries can be viewed below.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: CONTEST ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Show me your interpretation the following scene in your own style. Be sure to research city street views, anatomy, and other visuals for reference.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
I was walking in San Francisco off of Powell Street with a couple of friends one summer day.
We were heading up the block when we saw a shabby homeless man sitting hunched over on a blanket in front of one of the shops. He did not hold the customary cardboard sign as most do, nor did he pay much attention to the passing people. He was, as many in the city, ill and you could see just with how he held himself.
It wasn’t an unusual site, but this particular site seemed special.
A little girl walked in front of us with her parents. She stopped at the homeless man and pulled out her little pink children’s wallet. Her parents took a few paces and stopped and waited for her, watching.
The little girl tilted her wallet into her hand, her small fingers gripping it as she shook out all of her change from it. The homeless man neither looked up nor acknowledged her until the little girl held her fist full of change for him. The man’s face raised and he looked at the girl in what seemed an almost ethereal gratitude as the girl dropped all the money she had into the mans withered hands. The man thanked her and the girl put her wallet away and skipped off back to her parents to continue walking. She must have been only 8.
My friends and I who had witnessed this had stopped dead in the side walk shocked. Never have we seen such kindness expressed in such a simple manner. In the big city things were often rough and most people were ignored as others thought of themselves to survive, but this girl with such innocence had done what most might not even think of, nor bother with if they had thought of it.  It was an inspiring gesture that still gives hope to many and in its own way quite beautiful.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This contest is for someone to recreate this scene in there vision. What do you see when you hear of such a thing? Do you see it as saddening? Inspirational? Moving?
Can you grasp the emotion of the aspects of these actions? A scene from a movie never made?

Draw your interpretation of the scene, and win a prize.

There will be 2 ways of judging for this contest.
What is the most Moving and what is the most Creative.
The idea is to make the viewer feel the emotion and know exactly what is taking place. Make someone cry with happiness and sadness or some emotional response to the scene.

Any Medium is acceptable, even sculptures, and writing. I have a minor writer block at the moment so if you could recreate the story into something wonderful even that’s acceptable. You have permission to do so. :D

:::::::::::::::::::::::Judging::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Both :iconxthumbtakx: , omit , and I will be judging. If anyone else would like to Judge let me know (PM) but by being a Judge you cannot enter the contest itself.
